What to expect: It's our first ever Australian Uni Champs! And it's guaranteed to be a fun and really competitive day! All uni students, regardless of skills or experience in the sport are welcome to join in the first half of the day. In the second half, we will be inviting the top team from each university to represent their university at the squad level. This means everyone will have a chance to play in the first half of the day and then get around and support their heroes in the fight for the title!

Everyone is welcome to sign up and join in the day and we expect heaps of people playing in their first ever tournament. You can play in one division or both divisions. 

If you want to play in both divisions you only need to pay once but when you receive your email to complete your rego we ask that you complete this twice. Once for your Open Division team and a second time for your Mixed Division team. Pizza!: Bring $10 in cash, chuck it into the labeled jar that corresponds to your pizza of choice and we'll do a big order and bring it back to the oval for dinner. If you are under time pressure at that end of the day, this probably isn't the best option for you as we will be arranging the order around the playing schedule. If you're not in a rush and wanna hang out this is for you!

Sunday Recovery: Yes, we know you can't get enough. There will be some people playing casual spike at Brighton-Le-Sands from approximately 10am on Sunday. This is not formally organised but all are welcome to come along. The tournament kits will be departing at midday so if you want to play longer you might like to bring your own.

The day will be divided into two parts. The first part is what we call "pool play" where you play the other teams in your pool. As we will have mixed skill sets you might have some easier games and some tough ones! Then when all those games have been played we move into "bracket play". In this second stage you are seeded based on your performance in the pool play and to win the day you need to be the one undefeated team. If you drop a game then you will go on to play against other people who lost. We find that most people feel like they get more than enough games to play. You'll rest well that night.
